Coca-Cola has appointed Dusan Stojankic as vice president and general manager of its Great Britain & Ireland business.
Stojankic will be responsible for leading long-term growth in the region, overseeing a range of more than 80 products across 20 brands – including the likes of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Diet Coke, Fanta and Schweppes.
He will oversee the continued expansion of Coca-Cola’s low and no-sugar range, while prioritising the company’s ongoing progress towards sustainable packaging innovation, and carbon and water targets in line with its ‘World Without Waste’ ambition.
Stojankic – who has spent 19 years in the global business – was previously vice president of franchise leadership for south-east Europe.
He will report to Lana Popovic, president of operations for Europe.
Stojankic succeeds Jon Woods, who has been appointed global vice president of ESG after 18 years with Coca-Cola Great Britain & Ireland.
Woods’ new role will focus on driving environmental and sustainability initiatives, accelerating the company’s progress to ensure it meets or exceeds its global commitments.
Stojankic said he was “delighted to have been appointed as the general manager of Coca-Cola Great Britain & Ireland”.
“This is a leading, strategic market for the company, and I look forward to supporting its ongoing success as we continue to evolve our choice of products, innovate packaging solutions, develop our community partnerships and drive our sustainability ambitions to reflect and meet the needs of consumers across Great Britain and Ireland.”
