Coca-Cola GB has unveiled a ‘face-swappable’ bottle for its Oasis brand - in what the soft drinks giant believes is a world first.
Forming the latest part of the brand’s #RefreshingStuff campaign launched in the summer, the limited-edition pack - rolling out from today (5 December) - appears for the Summer Fruits variant. It allows shoppers to use any face-swapping app to switch their visage with the front label, which uses strawberries, a cherry and a splosh of water to create a face-like design.
The new push would be backed by social media and influencer/blogger activity, and might roll out across more flavours in the coming year, said Coca-Cola.
Oasis is currently the fifth biggest name in juices and smoothies, with value sales down 7.1% to £74.6m as the war on sugar continues to take its toll on a category that has lost £70.4m [Nielsen 52 w/e 27 August 2016].
