Devon-based spice supplier Chiman's has added a curry blend to its portfolio, based on a 132-year-old recipe from the British Raj.
The Colonel's Curry powder (rsp: £1.60 per 26g packet) dates back to a recipe from Colonel Arthur Robert Kenney-Herbert, who was known in Victorian society as the 'King of Curry' because of the cookbooks he penned.
Chiman's is launching the blend which contains nine spices into speciality food stores across the UK later this month to celebrate the company's 20th birthday.
