The cost of breakfast is rising, with prices of key commodities at their highest for decades, the Financial Times has reported.

Tea is at an all-time high, while coffee is at its most expensive for 11 years. Meanwhile, sugar is at a 28-year high and orange juice is more expensive than at any time in the past 15 months.

Factors including extreme weather and political conflict in developing countries have disrupted supply, pushing up prices.
