Cookie dough brand Doughlicious has expanded into ambient food to go with a range of soft-baked single-serve cookies.
Launching in four variants – Double Chocolate Chip, Salted Caramel Cookie, Chocolate Chip and Banana Good Granola – the cookies (rsp: £1.99/82g) are made with British oats in Doughlicious’ west London factory.
They are gluten-free and vegan, with no artificial additives, preservatives, flavours or colours.
Additionally, Banana Good Granola is HFSS compliant, a source of fibre and vitamins D and E, and provides 17g protein.
The cookies will roll into Ocado, Amazon and Whole Foods Market in March.
They will also be sold via Gopuff, Deliveroo, Zapp, British Airways, LNER trains and Hunt’s Food Group.
“At Doughlicious, we’re constantly innovating with new ingredients, formats and recipes in our kitchen – one of the many benefits of producing in-house in our dedicated facility,” said Doughlicious founder Kathryn Bricken.
“We revolve our range around our delicious cookie dough, and we thought it was about time we created some ready-to-eat cookies to diversify our range and opportunities for on-the-go snacking, as well as broadening our cookie dough platform.”
It comes after Doughlicious teamed up with PepsiCo to launched limited-edition Extra Flamin’ Hot Cookie Dough & Gelato Bites in January.
