Fruit smoothies specialist The Big J is extending its repertoire with a new range of juice and water drinks.
The new brand, called Coolers, will go into Sainsbury this month and the company claimed it would answer the growing consumer demand for healthy soft drinks.
In particular, it said, the newcomer should attract consumers looking for an alternative to plain water.
Rolling out in four flavours - Mirabelle Plum & Passion Fruit, Strawberry & Vanilla, Apple & Elderflower and Cranberry & Lime - rsp will be £1.09 for a 330ml PET bottle.
Following the parent brand’s free-from credentials, none of the drinks contain artificial sweeteners, additives, GM ingredients or preservatives.
Josephine Carpenter, MD of The Big J, said: “Coolers have been developed to satisfy the palette of the more discerning bottled water consumer.
“Flavours are sophisticated and, more importantly, the taste is derived naturally.”
