Costa Coffee has added tea to its self-serve Express machine offer.

The coffee chain said it marked a “significant expansion” of Costa Express’ beverage offering and reflected its commitment to meet growing demand for tea on the go.

Catering to people commuting and travelling, the new offer will be introduced across its network of over 7,000 self-serve machines located on high streets, in petrol stations, and at travel hubs, providing an “accessible solution for tea lovers nationwide”.

“We know how much our customers value a great cup of coffee, and the same goes for tea – which is an integral part of daily life in the UK,” said Andrew Miller, Express and corporate sales director UK&I at Costa Coffee.

“We’re thrilled to expand our offering with the addition of tea to Costa Express machines nationwide, and its inclusion in our portfolio reflects our dedication to delivering the beverages our customers want, wherever they are. Whether it’s a tea to accompany a morning commute or a break during a busy day, Costa Express is making it easier than ever for people to enjoy their favourite brew on the move.”

The business said the rollout also represented its continued investment in innovation and consumer convenience, catering to a nation “increasingly reliant on quality, quick-service options”.
