Crabbie’s has boosted its Crafty Ginger range with a new blend of stout with its flagship ginger beer.
Crabbie’s Stout with Ginger Beer is made in collaboration with Black Country craft brewer Sadler’s, and has a “balanced taste” and “spicy finish”, said the brand. It has rolled out in 500ml bottles at an abv of 4.2% (rsp: £1.80).
Darker beers were “expected to see a bit of a renaissance as part of craft beer category growth” said Crabbie’s senior marketing manager Anja Weise-O’Connor. “Crabbie’s has always been about an unconventional approach to drinks making, one that champions quality ingredients, true craftsmanship and a daring nature on what’s possible.”
Listings are currently being sought.
It follows the launch of Crabbie’s IPA last month, also created with Sadler’s. Both brands are owned by Halewood Wine & Spirits.
