Hackney craft brewery Crate is to make its supermarket debut this month, rolling out to Tesco.
The brand has secured listings for four brews - lager, IPA, session IPA and pale ale - which are due to hit shelves from 9 September (rsp: £2/330ml).
The lager will roll into 483 stores, the pale ale 1,065, the IPA 1,331 and the session IPA 505.
Crate had started with “the simple belief that good beer brings people together” said director Neil Hinchley. “As a brand, we thrive on creativity, and we hope this listing will allow us to share this passion with new customers.”
The business already has a presence in premium on-trade and specialist retailers.
