Cravendale is launching the first-ever customer loyalty programme for milk, with the introduction of an on-pack collector scheme on its bottles next week.

Special promotional versions of Cravendale's two-litre milk bottles will go on sale on Monday (16 August), carrying codes for customers to collect and redeem against items from the Cravendale 'Kitchen Collectables' range, a collection of kitchen items specially designed for Cravendale. The items shoppers can collect include a teapot, three mugs, a bowl, a milk jug, three spoons and a tea towel.

A two-litre bottle of Cravendale costs £1.69 and shoppers will need to collect eight codes at a spend of £13.52 to receive a tea towel or a spoon and 25 points to collect a teapot.

The scheme, which Cravendale will invest £1m in, will run until early February 2011. Cravendale hopes 150,000 customers will take part.
