A health food brand that went on sale in Tesco as part of a food fair has secured a listing in 240 stores.
Creative Nature first appeared in more than 70 Tesco Extra stores this summer as part of 14-week trial under the supermarket’s Lifestyle Food Fair.
The brand’s Cacao Powder (rsp:£6.99/200g) and Cacao Nibs (rsp: £8.99/300g) will now be rolled out in the free-from aisle from the end of September.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans, the products contain no added sugar, preservatives or sweeteners and are gluten, dairy, GMO, soya and lactose free.
Julianne Ponan, who runs Creative Nature with operations manager Matthew Ford, said: “It is an amazing feeling knowing we are the superfood brand of choice for Tesco, especially when we are only a two-person company both only in our twenties.
“Not only isTesco trying to improve the healthy options available to customers, it is also showing support for small business like ours which are the foundations of British society.”
