Culina Logistics has ramped up its fleet with what it says is a “benchmark” for long-distance road transport.
The £250m food and drink logistics specialist has added 20 DAF XF510 6x2 tractor units that make driver comfort and working conditions “a major priority”.
Greenhous DAF also recently supplied Culina with 14 other trucks - a mixture of ambient and chilled. Mark Matkin, group fleet manager, said Culina had invested heavily in environmentally efficient trucks and the means to monitor how its vehicles were driven. “We can track their use comprehensively; including driver behaviour, CO2 emissions, route planning and fuel usage.”
