Following the conclusion of Dairy Crest's acquisition of Unigate's dairy business, Dairy Crest chief executive John Houliston has announced the final management structure. The foods division will be run by executive managing director Drummond Hall, who has overall responsibility for cheese, spreads, Frijj, the Yoplait Dairy Crest dairy desserts joint venture, business with the multiples and ingredients. Executive director Peter Allanson-Bailey will be in charge of the Wexford operation, butter and powder. He will be reporting to Hall. The dairies division will be run by executive managing director Chris Roberts, who takes on day to day responsibility for supermarket and milk procurement, doorstep milk, group purchasing and foodservice.
