Food supply chain operator Fowler Welch has hired logistics veteran Dale Fiddy as strategic development director.
Fiddy joins from rival NFT, where he was sales & marketing director, and took up the newly created role today (6 June).
He has 30 years’ experience in logistics and supply roles. He spent nine years at NFT and before that a decade in senior roles at Culina.
Fowler Welch said Fiddy would be tasked with “developing the significant benefits for food manufacturers and retailers in working in a truly collaborative environment”.
“We are delighted to welcome Dale to the Fowler Welch family and have seen great vision and understanding of the business’s objectives from him already,” said Fowler Welch CEO Nick Hay.
“Dale brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and a strong network of contacts across the sector. Most importantly, Dale brings a fresh perspective and we are very positive he will continue to build on Fowler Welch’s successes.”
Fiddy added: “I am delighted to have joined such an experienced and motivated team and look forward to developing the sales sector alongside them with a number of new initiatives. The business has achieved some great successes for customers in recent years and I look forward to building on these with the team, showing potential customers what we can do for them and working together to create an environment for success.”
