Dalston’s Soda has hired Jessica Harris-Voss as sales director.
Harris-Voss previously worked for L’Oréal as well as Itsu, where she was head of grocery channel, and Diageo where she held marketing and BDE roles.
Harris-Voss said she was “excited to apply my experience from blue chips and SME business” to the role. “I’m proud to be working for a sustainable, healthy brand with British roots that’s genuinely tasty,” she said.
“I can see genuine opportunity to explode the brand and can’t wait to get stuck in with Duncan [O’Brien, founder] and the team.”
O’Brien said he was “genuinely thrilled to be working wih Jess”. “She’s hit the ground running with us at Dalston’s and is already making an impact with retailers and in our team.
It comes as 2021 saw Dalston’s smash a £400k crowdfund less than 24 hours after launching the campaign.
“After a frankly emotional and rocky couple of years, it feels great to be building back – we’re seeing buyers being more eager to back sustainable brands with a British supplier network, and I believe Jess is the perfect person to propel us into our next stage of growth,” O’Brien said.
The brand had “just had the best start to a year in terms of sales since our inception” he added.
