Danone has teamed up with Disney to launch a range of children’s yoghurts and yoghurt shakes using Star Wars and Frozen licences.
The Disney range is on sale now and comprises a strawberry flavoured shake (rsp: £1.29) designed to capitalise on the growing trend for yoghurt drinks and on-the-go occasions, and a yoghurt pot range, derived from Danone’s French yoghurt Veloute, available in strawberry and mixed berry flavours (rsp: £1.68/4 x125g).
“The kids’ yoghurt licensed sector is showing strong growth of 11% [IRI 26 December 2014] and we believe this launch will accelerate this trend even further,” said brand manager Esme Rodger.
