Dave's Hot Chicken

American food-to-go chain Dave’s Hot Chicken is hosting a pop-up in London to highlight the brand opening its first UK branch next month.

The Los Angeles-based chain is famous for selling spicy fried chicken, including an item so hot that customers need to sign a waiver before ordering.

Dave’s Hot Chicken will be making an “exclusive, secret appearance” in the car park of 5A Club Row in Shoreditch on the 20 November.

The pop-up will be giving away free Dave’s sliders starting from 5pm.

“We started in a parking lot, so we’re excited to kick off our London adventure with that same energy,” Dave’s co-founder Arman Oganesyan told The Grocer.

“All we can say is, be prepared to get your hands on some of the hottest, most succulent chicken you’ve ever had.”

In July, the chain signed a franchise agreement with hospitality investment firm Azzurri Group, the company behind food-to-go chains including Ask Italian and Zizzi.

The first Dave’s Hot Chicken is set to open in London in December, with 60 stores in total to open across the UK in 2025.
