Scottish seafood processor Dawnfresh Seafoods, has announced two appointments to its management team to support new MD Andy Stapley.
Colin Logan is sales and marketing director and Shaun Burnett is the marketing manager. Both will be based at the £12m purpose-built factory near Glasgow.
Logan held various business development roles before joining Dawnfresh, most recently at McCain where he managed major retail accounts, including Tesco, Asda and Iceland. Prior to that he was with Grampian Country Food Group.
Burnett was previously marketing manager at Paterson Arran, where he rebranded and modernised Scottish products and managed its Tesco and Sainsbury accounts.
As well as his new marketing role, Burnett will be business manager for the Somerfield/ Kwik Save and Aldi accounts.
Dawnfresh claims to be Scotland’s leading seafood manufacturer and the UK’s second largest scampi producer. It will enter Europe for the first time after recently securing a contract with Delhaize.
