Days Brewing has become the fastest growing low and no-alcohol brand in retail, having seen its retail sales swell by 160% in the space of a year.

The brand, founded by Mike Gammell and Duncan Keith in 2020, had the highest growth of any alcohol alternative with at least £250k in retail sales value in the 52 weeks ended 28 December 2024, new NIQ data has shown.

Its annual sales were £723k, up from £290k the year prior.

Days saw off competition from the likes of Northern Monk (+93%), Asahi 0.0% (+87%) Guinness 0.0 (+75%) to seal the title.

Days, whose beers are stocked in grocery multiples including Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Tesco, is now seeking to build on this momentum having secured a nationwide listing with Majestic.

Twelve packs of Days’ 0% Pale Ale (rsp: £15/12x330ml) will land in over 200 Majestc stores from this month.

“Launching our 0% Pale Ale in Majestic nationwide is a real milestone moment,” said Days co-founder Duncan Keith. “The latest data shows that Majestic’s sales of low & no drinks have grown by 600% over the past three years, which really proves that moderation is now mainstream.

“We’re looking forward to supporting Majestic’s massive low & no growth by working with their nationwide team of drinks experts to bring quality 0.0% beer to more consumers and more occasions.”

Majestic has this month partnered with Club Soda to expand its low & no offer further, rolling products from brands including Eisberg, Moderato, Three Spirit, Everleaf, Botivo, and Real Drinks out nationwide.

They join a low & no-alcohol fixture at Majestic, which includes brands such as Lucky Saint, Noughty, Sipsmith and Adnams.
