Procter & Gamble Daz has added a new fragrance to its washing powder range for the first time in 10 years backed by a £3m marketing campaign.
Daz Citrus Blast will hit the shelves on April 15 with a limited edition 33% extra free promotion until stocks run out. In-store support will come in the form of scented giveaways such as tissues and car fresheners, and scented POS elements for shoppers to try the new scent in store.
P&G trade marketing manager, Jolyon Hennings, said: “Citrus Blast showed strong appeal in concept testing, as consumers loved the new scent. We expect the launch to bring significant incremental growth to the laundry category.”
The on-pack promotion comes in packs of 32 tablets for the price of 24, and 27 scoops of powder for the price of 20.
