Health and beauty product distributor DCS Group has broken its £200m sales target.
The group, which supplies more than 400 customers in the UK, set the target of £200m eight years ago when it reached the £100m mark.
DCS is the official sales and distribution company for P&G, Unilever, Colgate, SC Johnson and PZ Cussons and has increased sales every year since it was established in 1994.
“This was a personal target and not easy to reach in a tough retail climate that has seen many retailers and wholesalers decline or close down,” said DCS founder Denys Shortt.
“We have a new board of directors at DCS who continually refocus the business. Our target for next year is £220m so the £300m is already in our sights.”
