Deliveroo is to double the workforce of its business teams as it targets companies ordering food for staff and clients.
The number of staff working for Deliveroo for Business will rise to 200 globally this year, the food ordering and delivery firm has announced.
The UK Deliveroo for Business team is also to double, to around 35. New roles will include account managers.
Customers for Deliveroo for Business include Facebook. Launched in 2015, the service lets companies provide staff with credits which they can use on Deliveroo’s app, rather than submit an expenses claim.
Over 10,000 firms are signed up to it worldwide, according to Deliveroo.
“Deliveroo is passionate about giving people the best choice of food, whether you’re at home or in the office,” said UK MD Dan Warne.
“Deliveroo for Business has grown from strength to strength as companies across a range of industries look to offer their employees amazing meals that work for them.
“We’re really excited to expand this offering, allowing workers to shun stale sandwiches for great local food delivered straight to their desk.”
