The Confectioners Benevolent Fund, which provides practical and financial support to more than 1,350 beneficiaries, has appointed Mike Denyard as its chairman.
Until December 2004, Denyard was director of sales for Cadbury Trebor Bassett.
The Confectioners Benevolent Fund said that Denyard had been a dedicated supporter of the fund for many years and continued to be a visitor to the fund’s beneficiaries. Denyard is stepping into the shoes of Charles Patel who has been the chairman of the fund for three years and is also currently the chairman of the Capital News Group.
Denyard said: “I am absolutely delighted to accept this position and I consider it a very great privilege to have the opportunity to continue to serve the Confectioners Benevolent Fund in this new capacity.”
