Dhamecha Cash & Carry has posted an increase in full-year sales thanks to the opening of its sixth depot.
The London-based wholesaler opened the long-awaited 100,000 sq ft site in Hayes, West London, in March 2010.
As a result, turnover in the year to 31 March 2011 rose 23% from £428.5m to £527.2m. Pre-tax profits also rose, from £8.5m to £9.9m.
“The directors have pursued a successful strategy of increasing the company’s market share,” chief executive Pradip Dhamecha said in accounts filed at Companies House.
