The Dip Society has launched a range of smoked fish pâtés made with Greek yoghurt for a “lighter and healthier” snack.
Available now from Ocado, the gluten-free duo comprises hot smoked salmon pâté with honey and mustard, and smoked mackerel pâté with lime, parsley and nutmeg (rsp: £3.49/130g).
“Both fish pâtés are familiar flavour combinations yet bring a Dip Society twist to a conventional pâté recipe,” said The Dip Society co-founder Helen Boyle.
“With just seven or eight top quality ingredients in each, no additives or preservatives, and made with a delicious Greek yoghurt instead of full fat cream cheeses and butters, our pâtés are without doubt a lighter and healthier offering without compromising taste.”
The pâtés join The Dip Society’s existing lineup of five tzatziki, houmous, garlic and beetroot dips, which are sold in Ocado, Booths and Selfridges as well delis and farm shops nationwide.
The supplier secured investment from Ascot Capital Partners in April and plans to extend its range of ‘natural’ British dips further in 2017.
“We’re over the moon to have investment in place to be able to build the brand, come up with delicious products, and get more people buying our dips,” added co-founder Claire Ollard.
