South African wine and spirits producer Distell has extended its UK portfolio with two new sparkling variants.

The premium Pongrácz Rosé and Pongrácz Brut wines are made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Rolling into Morrisons now (rsp: £14.99), they will tap into recent growth in the sparkling wine sector, hailed as a star performer over the festive period (The Grocer, 14 January).

The wines are distributed in the UK by Brand Phoenix.
