Dark Chocolate with Raisins & Almonds has joined the Divine portfolio of Fairtrade flavours.
Intended as a high-end take on a classic fruit and nut, the new 100g variant (rsp: £2.19) is launching in Oxfam and Traidcraft stores nationwide, with further retail listings expected.
All Divine’s cocoa beans are produced by the farmers of Kuapa Kokoo, a co-operative of more than 80,000 cocoa farmers in Ghana, who co-own Divine Chocolate.
The new, palm oil-free bars also include Fairtrade almonds grown by Pakistani farmers, sugar from the Malawian Fairtrade co-op Kasinthula, and vanilla grown by Fairtrade farmers in Madagascar.
“We are always innovating and introducing exciting new flavours to our range,” said Charlotte Green, marketing director at Divine Chocolate.
“We’re confident the sophisticated new Dark Chocolate with Raisins & Almonds will be popular with dark chocolate lovers and a great introduction to a more intense cocoa flavour for fans of fruit and nut chocolate.”
