Fairtrade supplier Divine Chocolate has reported its highest level of profit since 2008.
The company, which is owned by Kuapa Kokoo - a co-operative of cocoa farmers in Ghana - recorded pre-tax profits of £241,000 in the year to June 2014 on sales up 7% to £8.3m.
It attributed the increase to NPD such as its Milk Chocolate with Toffee & Sea Salt bar, as well as strong sales in the US - which rose 16% on a like-for-like basis.
