Divine Chocolate, the Fairtrade confectionery brand, has unveiled its first range of organic chocolate bars.
Made with cocoa from a farmers’ co-operative on the west African island of São Tomé, the new lineup will roll out next month in five 80g variants. A plain 95% cocoa bar will be joined by four flavours with 85% cocoa: Lemon, Cocoa Nibs, Blueberry & Popped Quinoa, and Turmeric with Ginger (rsp: £2.99-£3.49).
“There’s a big opportunity to attract new customers with the organic range,” said Divine sales director Chris Noel. The new chocolate would tap “the growing desire for more healthful treats”.
