Quality British Turkey will launch its Christmas campaign on December 1 by serving Christmas dinner to three national BBC radio presenters while they are on air.
It is hoped that the stunt involving Terry Wogan, Sarah Kennedy and Chris Moyles will reach 30 million listeners and draw attention to the increased choice of smaller turkey joints that are available.
Kim Burgess of The British Turkey Sector Group said: “With the threat of cheap imports and fears over quality it is more important than ever for retailers and consumers to demand the Quality British Turkey mark.”
