Lily’s Kitchen has added two new lines to its pet food portfolio.
Rolling out now, the duo comprises Senior Recipe - aimed at older pooches, and Recovery Recipe - formulated especially for dogs suffering from an upset stomach and those convalescing. The latter is available from independent retailers in 400g ‘wet’ tin format (rsp: £2.49) alongside Senior Recipe, which will also be rolled into Waitrose and Ocado next week in 400g wet tins (rsp: £2.19) and 1kg, 2.5kg and 7.5kg dry bags (rsp: £7.49, £17.69 and £45.99).
Designed for dogs aged seven and older, Senior Recipe is fortified with glucosamine and chondroitin to provide joint care, while Recovery Recipe is enriched with natural prebiotics to help look after the digestive system.
The NPD provided “unique innovations” compared to existing products on the market, said founder Henrietta Morrison.
“As dogs mature or recover from illness, good nutrition is more important than ever,” she said. “Along with our team of vets and nutritionists, we have devised two new product lines that provide tailored recipes to help dogs get the nourishment they need.”
