Latest entry into the premium packaged spirit market is a tequila and lemon mix from Scottish Courage Brands.
Slamba is a 5.5% abv drink sold in a 250ml can inside a 440ml clear plastic container.
It was launched in the on-trade at the end of last summer and is now stocked in 2,000 outlets. Its off-trade launch is set for the spring.
Scottish Courage is aiming for the fastest growing drinks sector in the business. In the 12 months to October its volume sales grew 101% according to ACNielsen.
Like the rest, it is aimed at 18 to 25-year-olds and has gone down equally well with men and women.
The single can will retail at £1.79 and will also be available in four packs.
