Independent brewery The Rushing Dolls Company has won its first listing for a lower-alcohol beer specifically aimed at women.
Harry's Beer, which has an abv of 4%, was rolled out in 26 Booths stores across north west England last week (rsp: 1.19). It comes in transparent bottles decorated with images of women that the company claimed would appeal to female consumers.
The beer, which was designed by 20-year-old entrepreneur Harriet Easton, is described as a "refreshing golden ale with a hint of citrus zing".
