Dolmio is set to boost retailers' sales and enhance its position as the UK's number one Italian wet cooking sauce brand with its new Best Ever Bolognese sauces. The range is being supported by a £4m marketing campaign, which includes TV and press advertising.
The improved range of Bolognese sauces are made using 'kitchen cupboard' ingredients and have a great authentic home-made taste. Each recipe contains three times more tomato chunks than before and 10 juicy tomatoes in each jar. "The Best Ever Bolognese line is another example of how Dolmio is working to help drive sales in-store. Dolmio offers retailers great stand-out on shelf as well as the benefits of an ad campaign that will be on air from September," said brand spokeswoman Suzanne McFarlin.
