Lever Fabergé is extending its Domestos range to include a new double-barrelled, two- layer, all-purpose household cleaner: Domestos Bi-Actif. And it is backing the new boy's launch with £3m. The top layer of Bi-Actif is aimed at removing stubborn grease and dirt, while the bottom clear layer kills bacteria. Consumers need to shake the bottle to combine the two capabilities. There are two formats ­ a 750ml bottles in Original, Lemon Fresh and Pine Fresh fragrances (rsp: £1.49) and a 50ml spray in Original fragrance (rsp: £1.59). The products are designed for everyday use in the kitchen and bathroom. Backing includes TV ads planned for later this month, direct marketing, and instore activity. PR is targeted at women and includes advertorials in several women's magazines in August, and a competition to win a cleaner for a year. {{MARKETING - P&P }}
