The Budweiser Budvar brewery has promoted Neville Hall to the position of sales and marketing director of its wholly owned British subsidiary, Budweiser Budvar UK.
Prior to this appointment, he was director of on-trade sales for the UK arm after joining as the national on-trade controller
shortly after the UK company’s formation three years ago.
He will now be responsible for building the brand in both the off and on-trades.
Jon Whittle remains a director of off-trade sales.
Hall had worked with HP Bulmer for 28 years, where for nine years he was the director of sales, on-trade, until leaving in 2001. He will be working in tandem with Budvar’s chief executive and financial director Tony Jennings.
Jennings has now been confirmed as chief executive, having taken on the role in the interim following John Harley’s departure last month (The Grocer, February 19, p75).
