London-based sauce company Dr Will’s has appointed Walker Logistics to oversee its distribution operations.
The move is designed to accommodate its increasing sales as fulfilling orders in-house becomes impractical.
Walker Logistics will fulfil e-commerce orders made on Dr Will’s online portal, as well as delivering replenishment stock to its growing list of retail partners such as Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.
The logistics company will pick, pack and ship orders to online customers and retailers from its 250,000 sq ft warehouse located just outside of Reading.
It has worked with Dr Will’s to provide cost-effective packaging that protects the glass bottles during transit.
“Dr Will’s is a relatively young business and outsourcing logistics and order fulfilment to a supply chain specialist will free up the time of key personnel within the organisation to do what they are best at doing - developing new products and focusing on growing their market,” said Walker Logistics sales director William Walker.
