Duerr's is introducing a five-strong range of premium preserves to cash in on the demise of Premier Foods' Robertson's brand.
The range, rsp £1.59 per jar, is available in apricot, blackcurrant, raspberry (in seedless and ordinary variants) and strawberry.
First-year sales would be around £1.5m, estimated sales and marketing director Richard Duerr.
"The loss of the Robertson's brand is an opportunity for smaller producers to meet consumer demand for products that offer provenance, heritage and quality," he said.
