Champagne, sparkling wine and cognac house Moët Hennessy has promoted Malcolm Dunbar to managing director, with effect from September 25. He takes over from James Cockeram who became md of Moët Hennessy Europe in May.
Dunbar joined LVMH as national sales manager of Moët & Chandon in 1988, becoming sales director in 1990. In 1997 he became vice-president, sales, of Chandon Estates, working out of the Californian head office. In his new post, he will be responsible for the Moët Hennessy brands in the UK, which include Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, Chandon Estates Hennessy and Grand Marnier.
