Meat giant Dunbia has launched three dedicated training and development programmes, which it says will “help shape and enhance” the UK’s meat processing industry of the future.
The trio of schemes consists of a new nationwide graduate programme, a new butchery academy in Scotland and three apprenticeship programmes at its site in Dungannon, NI.
“Our initiatives clearly demonstrate the commitment our business has to creating exciting opportunities within the meat industry,” said Dunbia’s NI head of HR Caroline Heagney-Walsh. “Attracting new talent into our industry is essential for future growth and sustainability.”
