The search for the UK’s best private-label products is back on, with The Grocer’s New Own-Label Awards now accepting entries.
This year’s competition will once again celebrate quality, diversity and innovation in own-brand grocery. It will focus on products launched, newly reformulated or repackaged in the 18 months to 14 October 2022.
A robust judging process will be applied across 38 categories, from alcoholic drinks and bread & baked goods to world cuisine and yoghurts & potted desserts.
In an intense, two-day judging session, industry experts will score each entry on 10 criteria, including appearance, taste & aroma, value for money, and packaging.
Based on their final scores, every product will then be awarded a gold, silver or bronze medal at a virtual event from 11am on Friday 14 October.
Deadline for entry is Monday 20 June. Enter now.
