Ocado is planning to extend its budget own-label Everyday range because it has been "trading in a very popular manner" since it was rolled out late last year.
The 56-line range has performed particularly well in the downturn and the retailer is now working on extensions, said Ocado.
The online retailer landed our star order in the latest Online G33 survey this week after pipping Sainsbury's to the post with flawless service that included no out-of-stock items, a helpful driver and a free copy of The Times. "It's testament to all the hard work from our staff and our unique business model that gives us lots of competitive advantages," said head of retail Jon Rudoe.
Meanwhile, despite using a bag less than last time, Asda was the worst offender for plastic bag use with 10. Waitrose, the worst last time with 14, used six this time.
