Former Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon has swapped cheesy pop for Cathedral City Cheddar.
The Celebrity Masterchef winner has designed a cheese-based cupcake for the Dairy Crest-owned Cheddar brand ahead of National Cheese Week.
The recipe – for a Cathedral City Mature Butternut Squash & Chilli Cupcakes – is aimed at shoppers that prefer savoury delights over sweet treats. McClarnon has also crafted a recipe for Cathedral City Mature Breakfast Muffins with Bacon.
National Cheese Week runs from 22 September.
