Gluten-free pasta brand Explore Asian is set to appear in a supermarket pasta aisle for the first time, having previously found itself on free-from shelves, with a Sainsbury’s listing from the end of this month.
Explore Asian’s bean-based range is available in four variants - Black Bean Spaghetti, Edamame & Mung Bean Fettuccine, Soy Bean Spaghetti and Edamame Spaghetti (rsp: £3.29/200g) - and is already available in the free-from section at Asda and Morrisons.
The arrangement with 364 Sainsbury’s stores will be the first time the brand has sat alongside mainstream pasta products.
Explore Asian director Per Nilson said he was “really excited” about the new listing. “This is a great leap forward and supports our belief that our gluten-free, high-protein bean pastas are suitable for almost everyone to enjoy and are an easy swap for those looking for a pasta alternative.”
