Wildjac won a Gold award in the 2024 Farm Shop & Deli Product Awards

Back for its fourth year, the Farm Shop & Deli Product Awards will again recognise and reward the finest products in the specialist retail sector.

Entries are now open for the 2025 awards, with a panel of expert judges comprising leading retailers, wholesale buyers and other industry professionals ready to appraise your products.

The experts will review all aspects of each entry, including the full value chain and branding, ensuring products are not only appealing but are also well-placed for retail success in independent stores. Products are not compared with other entries in the same category, and will be scored on their own merit.

The awards are open to products sold in farm shops, delis, and other specialist food retailers, and entries will be accepted across the following categories:

  • Ambient food & drink
  • Chilled food & drink
  • Deli/over-the-counter items
  • Frozen food & drink
  • Non-food & drink

Suppliers have the opportunity for valuable industry exposure by entering the awards, which are held in association with The Grocer and are backed by independent retailers and wholesalers including Cotswold Fayre, Cress Co, Diverse Fine Foods, Gorgeous Food Co, Booths and Cannon Hall Farm.

“If you are a business that is looking to emphasise your quality, the awards are a great way to demonstrate that,” said Matt Whelan, managing director of multi-award winners Fieldfare. “It gives shoppers and retailers confidence that you have got some great-quality products for them to try and list and sell.”

The closing date for entries is 27 January 2025, and the winners will be announced in the run-up to the Farm Shop & Deli Show, taking place from 7 to 9 April at the NEC, Birmingham. Enter now at the awards website.

“Each year, we are thrilled to present our panel of expert judges with outstanding products from across the independent specialist retail sector, offering brands a unique opportunity to elevate their market presence,” said Giorgio Rigali, head of communications for exhibitions at William Reed.

“We also look forward to welcoming visitors to the Farm Shop & Deli Show in April 2025, where guests can engage with the winning brands and products that will emerge from this year’s awards.”

The Farm Shop & Deli Show is part of The UK Food & Drink Shows, which unite four events under one roof and cover the complete food and drink supply chain. For further information visit the UK Food & Drink Shows website.
