British farmers Bruce Stapleton and Geoffrey Sprot are behind the release of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc in the UK through Grape-2-Wine. Kotare, from the Riversleigh Estate vineyard in Marlborough, is named after the Maori word for Kingfisher.
The two farmers plan to add a Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris to the Kotare brand range.
