Farmhouse Fare has launched a range of traditional puddings as the recession boosts demand for comfort food.
The eight-strong line-up includes Lyle's Golden Syrup pudding, Sticky Toffee pudding, Sticky Chocolate pudding and Bakewell Sponge (rsp: from £2.99). The range will be stocked by major retailers from later this month.
"Puddings are back in vogue," said a Farmhouse spokesman. "This is in partly due to the fact that there has been a resurgence in family dining and partly because people look on puddings as comfort food."
