Microwaveable burger specialist Feasters has retired its laddish image through a range relaunch.
The Eatwell UK-owned business has given the packaging of its microwave-friendly products a new "gourmet menu-style" retro design with 'good and ready' strapline.
Rolling out this week, the new designs will accompany the launch of five new snacks taking the Feasters portfolio to 17.
The new products comprise a 100% All Steak Pie, Chilli Con Carne Jacket Potato and 100% Cod Fish Finger Sandwich, all available from Asda with an rsp of less than £2. A wraps range will roll out to Tesco later this month in Chicken Fajita and Italian Meatball flavours (rsp: £2.49).
The brand's website has also been relaunched with a fruit machine-style comparison tool, which displays the fat content in Feasters products compared to McDonald's and Burger King's equivalents.
"It is important we keep our products, packaging and online activity fresh, appealing and innovative," said marketing manager Nicola O'Dwyer.
Eatwell UK is a division of Anglo Beef Processors.
