Fever-Tree is set to unveil new cardboard sleeves for its canned premium Indian tonic water as it seeks to build brand familiarity.
Rolling out now, the yellow packaging replaces the former predominantly black outer casing and brings it in-line with the four-pack sleeve for Fever-Tree’s 200ml bottles.
The move comes as the brand has secured further Marks & Spencer listings. Indian and Naturally Light Tonic will be stocked in 480 stores, up from 245, over the coming weeks.
Last month, Fever-Tree launched the two variants in cans in the Co-op for the first time, while Morrisons introduced the Elderflower and Mediterranean tin in 237 stores.
“We’re delighted with the success of the Fever-Tree cans,” said UK sales director Andrew Ronald. “Since launching in 2015, our cans of tonic are available in over 3,000 supermarket stores around the country, and are key to our growth strategy in the off-trade. We are confident that the redesign will build familiarity with the flavoured tonic range as a whole and build on this current success.”
