Mixer specialist Fever-Tree has launched a premium cola into the Spanish off-trade.

Developed to complement whisky and rum, the mixer - which includes roasted barley malt and herbal extracts - was soft-launched into Spanish bars recently, but there has already been interest from other markets, founder Charles Rolls told The Grocer. There were, however, no current plans to launch the cola in the UK.

“We would never say never, but the UK is not in our mind at the moment.” Any extension would be judged on a “market-by-market” basis, he added.
